Refurbishment

Refurbishment Project:
Complete Interior Overhaul

A full house refurbishment—bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces, storage. The kind of project where you start in one room and realize you need to do everything properly while you’re at it.

What We Did

Started with the bathrooms. New tiling, modern fixtures, decent lighting—we sorted the plumbing so it actually works without leaks six months down the line. The shower enclosures are solid, the heated towel rails function properly, and mirrors aren’t just hung on walls but integrated with lighting that actually illuminates your face.

Kitchen got a complete overhaul. New cabinetry throughout, proper countertops with actual workspace, appliances that are integrated properly so they don’t stick out awkwardly. The layout makes sense—cooker, sink, prep space all flow without you walking three metres between tasks.

Beyond the visible work: dressing rooms with built-in storage, living areas with new finishes, proper electrical rewiring so you’re not relying on sockets installed in 1987. The whole thing was stripped back and rebuilt properly.

Why This Matters

Old houses have problems you don’t see until you start looking. Dodgy plumbing, outdated electrical, spaces that don’t work for how people actually live now. A refurbishment isn’t cosmetic—it’s fixing what’s underneath so the property functions properly.

Better bathrooms and kitchens change how a house actually feels day to day. You spend time in these spaces. When they work well, the whole place works better.

The Details

Lighting gets overlooked. We installed it so spaces are actually lit properly, not just technically adequate. Storage was built in—not shelves bolted to walls but integrated solutions that make use of the space you have.

Materials were chosen for durability, not just looks. Tiles that won’t crack, worktops that won’t stain, fixtures that don’t break after a year.

The Result

A property that functions properly inside. Everything from plumbing through to storage was done right. It’s not just updated—it’s actually liveable in a way a house with decades of bodged repairs isn’t.
